Responsibilities

Connect customers with licensed health insurance agents by verifying eligibility and asking screening questions over the phone. In this role, you’ll handle fast-paced, script-driven calls that require professionalism, accuracy, and a positive, sales-forward attitude.

**This client is looking for contractors who want to work at least 15 hours a week**

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Handle inbound and out calls from prospective customers seeking health insurance information. 
  2. Quickly establish rapport and gather key information to determine eligibility and interest. 
  3. Follow a scripted call flow to ensure accurate pre-qualification. 
  4. Ask screening questions and verify details (age, ZIP code, insurance status, etc.). 
  5. Transfer qualified and interested callers to licensed agents using internal call transfer systems. 
  6. Handle non-qualified calls with professionalism and follow the proper wrap-up process. 
  7. Accurately document call details and dispositions in the system. 
  8. Maintain compliance with all scripts, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards.

Earnings Potential

  • Earn up to $0.30 per customer interaction minute (roughly equates to $18/hour)
  • Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 39 minutes for each hour if logged in and available for the full 60 minutes.

Skills Needed

  • Excellent customer service skills needed to build rapport and assist customers.
  • Sales skills needed to "assume the sale" and encourage customers to take the next step and speak with a licensed insurance agent.
  • Multi-tasking skills & attention to detail needed to engage with customers while navigating online systems.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule opportunities – you choose your hours!
  • Client hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm

Work Environment Requirements

  • Quiet, uninterrupted work space

Technology Requirements

  • Personal computer (no tablet)
  • Broadband internet connection, with at least 10 Mbps download speed
  • Wired internet connection, like Cable, Fiber Optic or DSL (no Wi-Fi or mobile internet)
  • Windows 11 operating system
  • Wired USB headset with microphone (Gaming headsets not accepted)
  • Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's' Boot Camp utility.

Important Information

Contractors must live in and work from the United States (except CA, NY, PA, WA) on this client program, and all contractors must successfully pass a background check to represent this client. At Working Solutions, we work with brands in various industries to humanize their customer experience. When you join our PRO Community, you’ll have access to apply to several contracts exclusive to Working Solutions independent contractors. Our contract hours range from 15 to 40+ hours per week and you can select the hours that are convenient for you! Contract pay rates vary depending on the client, but we make sure we offer the best rate possible to our contractors.



Contractual Relationship: The relationship between you and Working Solutions is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. Working Solutions will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with Working Solutions. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against Working Solutions hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits or employee benefits of any kind.
